Cinema under the Triglav

The Stara Fužina - Studor Local Community, Turizem Bohinj and the Triglav National Park are organising CINEMA UNDER THE TRIGLAV: free outdoor summer movie evenings in the village centre of Stara Fužina. The film evenings will take place on 5 Thursday evenings in July and August, from 13 July to 10 August, each time at 21.00. Welcome to the cinema under Triglav! In case of rain, the film screenings will take place in the Stara Fužina Cultural Centre.

Two friends from a small village transform their mopeds into choppers and embark on a journey, traveling through dreams of the past and visions of the future, looking for freedom and love. On the road through Slovenia and Croatia, two countries just recently separated from Yugoslavia, they are accompanied by a young runaway woman with a mysterious past and an old biker. Personal values are tested and free will questioned.

A man’s journey to show the true value of honey and its purpose for humanity. The film follows the hero for 30 days, through 6 different countries, eating only honey for the entire duration of filming. It explores how different cultures relate to this product, how they cultivate it and dispels the myth that honey and sugar are the same. From the tribes of Ethiopia, to the modern European techniques, the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, and the jungles of Java - the film unravels how much work a jar of honey really contains, the importance of bees, and how miraculous this product really is.
