The exhibition Canin: Memory of ancient climates takes the visitor on a journey through the Canin Mountains, located in the most eastern area of the Nature Park Julian Prealps (Italy) or in the most western area of the Triglav National Park (Slovenia), respectively at the very crossroads of the both protected areas.
The illustrated results represent a historical-geographical memory of an area characterised until recently by the presence of glaciers, which are almost despaired in last years. The message of the exhibition is clear: we have to be aware of the consequences of our actions and make changes to reduce the negative impact on the environment.
The exhibition will be on display until the end of October 2024.
