MANGRT EDUCATIONAL TRAIL - free guided hike

MANGRT EDUCATIONAL TRAIL - free guided hike

You are invited to a free guided hike along the Mangrt Educational Trail on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the lease agreement for the establishment of the Alpine Conservation Park, the predecessor of the Triglav National Park.

The Mangrt Educational Trail is 4 kilometres long and runs at an altitude of between 1770 and 2070 metres. It is an excellent way to explore the Mangrt Saddle. It offers interpretation of an exceptional high mountain environment, which is relatively easy to access and unique in terms of observing nature at high altitude. With the help of Peter Mlekuž, an excellent expert on the wider area of the Log pod Mangrtom and Mangrt, a regional guide of the Julian Alps Biospheric Area, and the staff of the Triglav National Park, the discovery of this exceptional part of the Julian Alps will be more in-depth and the experience all the greater.
