General conditions of participants
SAFETY OF PARTICIPANTS ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT AND DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
A brief overview of the instructions on responsibility and co-responsibility for the activities, signed by everyone who takes part in the activities:
Participants are expected to be in good psychophysical health and not under the influence of alcohol or other psychotropic drugs. All participants must be of legal age, and minors must be accompanied by a person of legal age or have a certificate from their parents or guardians stating that they are able to take part in the activity and accept responsibility and co-responsibility for the activities on the day of the event.
Restrictions on participation in activities:
The above restrictions apply to each activity on the day of the event. Activities taking place on the day of the event are not suitable for children aged 4 years or younger. The Triglav National Park reserves the right to impose additional restrictions in the event of extreme weather conditions or other exceptional circumstances . The Triglav National Park advises against participation in the activities by pregnant women and persons with serious health problems or injuries. In the event of bad weather or other exceptional circumstances, the Triglav National Park reserves the right to cancel or suspend activities on the day of the event at any time.
In the event of cancellation on the day of the event, we will refund the full cost of the booking, unless otherwise stated in the registration forms for the individual excursion. Activities on the day of the event run from the pick-up of guests at the agreed location until the end of the excursion or activity at the agreed location.
The responsibility for postponing a tour due to bad weather or other exceptional circumstances lies exclusively with the Triglav National Park Public Service and the guide. Temporary changes of participants are not taken into account and are not a reason for cancellation of the tour.
The Triglav National Park Public Institution shall not be held liable for any injuries caused outside the activities on the day of the event.
The Triglav National Park Public Institution shall not be held liable for injuries caused in contravention of the above provisions or as a result of failure to follow the instructions of the guides. Anyone suffering from asthma or other health problems must inform the guide before the start of the activity or excursion. Injuries sustained during the activity or programme must be reported immediately to the guide.
The Triglav National Park Public Institution will not take into account any injuries that are reported after the fact.
The activity will be led by a qualified guide.
The equipment to be carried by the participant is that suggested by the guide and provided in writing to the person registered.
In the event of any accident, I authorise the leader to arrange for appropriate medical care.
Participants must have health and accident insurance.
Participants must be insured against mountain rescue in Slovenia and abroad.
The Triglav National Park Public Institution takes photographs of all participants and reserves the right to use the photographs for internal purposes. Photographs taken by the Triglav National Park Public Service are the property of the Triglav National Park Public Service. The Triglav National Park Public Institution accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.
LIABILITY:
By signing this declaration, I declare the following for myself in full knowledge and responsibility and without duress:
that in the event of injuries and their consequences, I will not, for myself or for my wards, make any claim against the Triglav National Park Public Institution or against any individual guide for my own negligence and any injuries caused thereby to myself, minors or third parties.
In the event of any character or health problems, you must indicate this above on the application form, otherwise we consider that there are no health problems.
If you have any chronic illnesses or other serious medical conditions, please consult your doctor beforehand and bring a medical certificate with you to the training session as permission to exercise.
HEALTH REGULATIONS
Participants who have any health problems are responsible for informing the Triglav National Park Public Institution at the time of booking; if this is not possible, no later than before the start of any activity or programme.
