GeoBioBlitz - 5 years of Nature Exploration

From 22 May to the end of June 2023, a large outdoor exhibition GeoBioBlitz, organised by the U-S- Embassy in Slovenia, will be on display in front of the TNP Bohinj Centre in Stara Fužina.

The U.S. Embassy GeoBioBlitz program brings together youth and experts from Slovenia and the U.S. to learn more about geo- and biodiversity. Since the beginning of the program in 2016 youth have looked at biodiversity and some of the threats to it through various lenses – such as pollinators and the pollinated, invasive alien species and changing mountain ecosystems - in stunning locations around Slovenia. In 2022, the Embassy celebrated 5 years of the GeoBioBlitz program with the photo exhibit. Experts from the Triglav National Park also participate in the implementation of the program.
